I was recently asked to lead an Innovation Thinking Bootcamp for Davidson College about how entrepreneurs use an innovative mindset to solve existing problems while preparing for possible future needs.
Ranked among America's strongest and most selective liberal arts colleges, Davidson has recognized that the Higher Education sector is experiencing significant external change pressures - from rising costs to increased competition and changing learner demographics. As a result, they want to use innovation as a means to respond and adapt to these pressures.
In 2014, Davidson purchased industrial space adjacent to its campus where it could invite community members to spark vibrant conversations about technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Everblue is actually headquartered in this space, called The Hurt Hub. What I love about this coworking space is that it joins together innovators and entrepreneurs who are passionate about generating creative solutions to critical problems.
