The North Carolina Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services (NCDA&CS) has expanded its partnership with Everblue by digitizing four of its Structural Pest Control certification exams and allowing candidates to take the exams via remote proctoring.
Structural Pest Control includes the inspection for, identification of, and control of any wood-destroying organism or household pest. It also covers the use of pesticides, or other substances, mechanical devices, or structural modifications for the purpose of preventing, controlling, and eradicating pests in and around structures, as well as all phases of fumigation.
The Everblue online testing portal now hosts the following four exams for this section:
Everblue and NCDA&CS started offering online pesticide licensing exams in early 2021. Now, Everblue hosts a total of 30 exams, including six Spanish-translated assessments.
“We’re honored that NCDA&CS chose to work with Everblue for its state pesticide licensing process,” said Chris Boggiano, co-founder of Everblue. “After our initial consultation with them, we were confident that our online testing and proctoring software would be the right solution for their needs. I’m happy to say that every exam we add to our platform is simply another example of how we’re helping the state to become more efficient and productive.”
